A proud day at The Shamberere National Polytechnic! Our Chief Principal Dr. Elisha Nyamu (OGW) hosted top officials from the State Department of TVET on an official inspection tour of our school. We were glad to welcome Dr. Kanyi (PA to the PS, TVET), Professor Gitau (UoN), and Mr. Elkana (Industrial Linkages) to our premier institution. The delegation took a deep dive into our renowned Mechanical Engineering Workshop to check out our production units, industrial-grade facilities, and the exceptional products manufactured right here by our trainees. This visit marks another major step forward in bridging the gap between classroom training and the manufacturing industry!

- Guest House & Conference Services – Accommodation, conferences, meetings, seminars, workshops, hospitality and laundry services.
- Catering Services – Catering for conferences, weddings, graduations, workshops and other events.
- Mechanical Workshop – Welding, fabrication, repairs and production of metal products such as doors, windows, gates, beds and furniture.
- Farm Enterprise – Crop farming, dairy, poultry and horticulture, with farm products available for sale.
- ICT Production Unit – Printing, photocopying, scanning, graphic design, internet, document processing and computer support services.
- Day Care Centre – Safe childcare, early learning, meals and supervised play activities.
Yes. The Polytechnic provides student accommodation on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to availability. There are also several rental accommodation options within the surrounding area.
